Century XX
Installed in the building attached to the Mother Church of Saint Mary of the Angels, the museum was created in the 1980s. It results from the architectural renovation of some chapels of the county parishes, which removed religious implements in disuse, such as vestments, furniture, alms boxes, processional flags and religious sculptures of ancient patron saints from their interior. Its highlights include maritime ex-votos of rare beauty and great value and importance to the history of the defunct maritime trading port of Esposende.
